904L Cold Rolled Stainless Steel Plate

Introduction

904L cold rolled Stainless Steel Plate is a low-carbon, low-carbon austenitic stainless steel. Copper is added to this high-alloy stainless steel to improve its resistance to strong reducing acids such as sulfuric acid.

The steel is resistant to corrosion cracking pressure and crack corrosion. The 904L grade is non-magnetic and has excellent shape, durability and weldability.

904L cold rolled stainless steel plate contains many expensive ingredients, such as polyboron and nickel. Today, most applications using grade 904L are replaced by low-cost 2205 stainless steel.
